  • Decide the limit before you go in“One story, then goodnight.” (age 2½+)
  • The bedtime passOne pass, good for one drink or one more kiss. Once it's gone, it's gone. (age 3+)
  • When they get up againWalk them back and be as boring as you can: no talking, no telling off, lights off.
  • If they're wired and fighting itOvertired kids often fight sleep harder, not less.
